Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy provides individual evaluations and treatment interventions to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, posture, balance, endurance, and motor planning skills.  An individualized treatment plan is developed with long-term and short-term goals.  Physical Therapy is aimed at developing the sensory and large motor foundations necessary for mobility and large motor skill development.  When necessary, Physical Therapy also addresses adaptive techniques, the use of assistive mobility devices, and environmental adaptations for success in daily mobility.  Your physical therapist works closely with families, medical personnel, and other professionals involved with your child to achieve the best possible outcomes.  We are committed to developing skills that will promote safety, independence, and improve quality of life.
